About Stop the Madness, Inc.

Over the past 14 years, Stop the Madness, Inc. has interacted with over 5,000 youth through the various programs held in local schools and churches. Many of these youth have graduated from high school and are attending college or are gainfully employed, tax-paying citizens.

Stop the Madness is dedicated to changing the lives of our young people by effectively touching the issues that are relevant to their lives. In every city there is youth violence, but that may not be the biggest issue needing to be addressed.

We at Stop the Madness try to focus on the issues most relevant to the community in which we are working. Whether it is violence, illiteracy, negative activity or lack of educational opportunites, we want to make a difference in the lives of our children. Won't YOU lock arms with us and help continue to "stop the madness?"

Current Events!

Stop the Madness Summer Camp

Stop the Madness is not a program. It is about touching lives. This summer we had a summer camp that was versatile to say the least. The young people (ages 12-18) had a chance to learn, explore, produce, sing, create, praise, dance, travel, discuss, debate, plan, grow, tour, play and much more.

Heritage Tour

Pastor Jordan always reminds us that “you don’t know where you are going if you don’t know where you come from”. On July 5th, we took 37 youth on a “Heritage Tour”. The tour took us to various civil rights locations in Memphis, Birmingham, Selma, Montgomery, and Atlanta. The young people, as well as the adults, were able to see things that touched their lives forever.
